Bill's: Leamington Spa

When we walked past the newly opened Bills in Leamington Spa we got rather excited. The Londoners had been giving it rave reviews, so one lazy Sunday we decided go along and give it try. We settled on burgers. Dave got the real beef kind...

While I chose the veggie option - grilled halloumi cheese in sesame seed bun with hummus, baby gem, roasted peppers, sweet chilli and yoghurt, served with skinny fries.

On to desert... Pecan pie with malted banana ice cream..
The Pièce de résistance had to be the sticky toffee pudding. Divine.
I'd describe the decor as industrial meets shabby chic. I fell in love with these iddy biddy salt and pepper pots. Too cute for words.

We were quite amused by the take away menu of bits and bobs. Side order of a string shopping bag and a giant ball of twine anyone? Anyone?

Bill's restaurants are dotted around the south of England with Leamington being the furthest north so far. I heard a rumour that they're expanding pretty rapidly though... stay tuned Manchester.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Bill's. Soho style at Nando's prices. You can't say fairer than that.

Have you been to Bill's yet? What did you think?
