Turtle Bay: Leamington Spa

Everyone's talking about Turtle Bay. I was asked if I'd been five or six times last week. I thought if one little restaurant can cause that much buzz it's worth checking out. So, that we did.
We went for lunch and I was surprised to see that the sign outside advertised lunch for £6.95. So, basically the price of a Pret.
There's lots going on to keep you amused. Fairy lights, neon signs, graffiti style murals, stacked speakers, reggae music, tiki style bar and cocktails.
Oh, the cocktails! Because it was daytime and muggins here was driving we went for the non alcoholic variety. Coconut and Pineapple Punch to be precise. Oh. My. Word. We ordered a second round and tried to 'stealthily' watch the barman make them to figure out how we could recreate them home. We failed and will now have to return regularly for these bad boys.
On the bright side the 'Happy Hour' 2 for 1 cocktails offer covers most of the day (and night).
Dave shockingly spied the words 'Street Burger' and 'sweet potato fries' and had his mind made up in a matter of seconds.
I went for the Jerk Pork Wrap. So good! If you're not a huge fan of spicy food I wouldn't worry too much - it had a light zing.
And if you are a spicy food lover, check this out.
I'd highly recommend Turtle Bay. Great food at great prices. And the best darn mocktails I've ever tasted. I'd also like to give a big shout out to the staff who were all genuinely wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful.

Turtle Bay also have restaurants in Birmingham, Bristol, Leicester, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Southampton.

You can check out the full menu and specific location details here (link!)
