The Body Shop Body Butter's

I think it's fair to say I have a bit of a body butter obsession. Which is just as well because I'll be going on holiday soon and I'm depending on these beauties to transform my scaly, pasty legs into soft and sumptuous Giselle like pins. Well, a girl can dream.

I have five flavours: Satsuma, Strawberry, Magnolia, Shea and Coconut.

1999 was the year of satsuma. I was 13 and had discovered The Body Shop. I spent all of of my  pocket money there and owned every satsuma scented product on offer. Then, just as quickly as the obsession started it ended. And that was that. The end of an era.

15 years later satsuma is back in my stash and I love it just as much now as I did then. Deliciously orangey it brings back memories of school discos and sleepovers.
In 2000, aged 14 I discovered the strawberry scent. It was a short affair. I quickly realised that it smelled like the flavouring my dad used in his fishing bait.

I don't use this one much as it's a bit on the sickly side. I do sometimes give it a sniff though. And with it come memories of Sunday afternoon walks down the canal, bacon sandwiches for lunch and Mum and Dad reading the papers.
If you love floral scents this is the one for you. I sometimes use this after a good bath as it feels the most sophisticated. This would make a great present for mum.
Oh Shea Butter how I love you so. This is one of the moisturising formulas and I use this when I know nothing else will do the job. The scent is beautiful- sophisticated but modern and natural all at the same time. I will continue to repurchase this time and time again.

I'm a sucker for anything coconutty. Moisturiser, shampoo, cocktails. If there's coconut in it, I'm all over it. This body butter is a heavenly, sophisticated version of a coconut fragrance. If Satsuma was  designed for the 13 year old me, then Coconut it perfect for the 28 year old me.

Ooh just look at that thick, buttery, soothing, moisturising goodness.

Have you tried The Body Shop's Body Butter's? Which is your favourite?
