The Drugstore Essentials

The Drugstore EssencialsWe all have products that we can't live without. The products that are as necessary as milk and bread.

We beauty bloggers tend to tell you all about the new products, the luxury products, the hyped products. But what about the everyday essentials? Well here are mine. These are the products I reach for everyday and replace time and again.

Imperial Leather SkinKind Hydrating Body Wash

Having sensitive skin can be a real b**ch. Heavily scented body washes upset my skin. And that upsets me because A. being itchy sucks and B. I really love scented products!

For years I accepted my fate; a lifetime of monotonous showers using bland boring shower gels that were as dull as dishwater.

Then I discovered the Imperial Leather SkinKind range. The products are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested with a balanced skin friendly pH level and no artificial colours. Plus they have a subtle fragrance that smells lovely. I use this with a shower puff to produce a wonderful lather.

If you have sensitive skin I highly recommend these. You can usually find these on offer at Boots for around £1.39.

Neutrogina Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub

I have been using Neutrogina face washes for about 15 years. I have strayed and tried other brands but I always go back. For the price I find their products unbeatable. They do what they're meant to do which is keep my skin clear.

I'm currently using the Neutrogina Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub. Is has tiny beads that gently exfoliate the skin. I love the consistency and the fragrance. It's lovely and fresh and the beads aren't scratchy at all. Perfect for first thing in the morning.

Vaseline Spray & Go Cocoa Radiant

I have an admission to make. I'm a lazy moisturiser. When it come to moisturising my body it all seems like a big ol' faff. This spray though is a dream! Spray it, rub it in and get dressed. It sinks in ridiculously quickly. No mess, no fuss.

Olay Beauty Fluid

It moisturises, sinks in quickly and doesn't break me out. I do use other moisturisers but I always keep this one in my kit as well.

Dove Invisible Dry Deodorant

Stick or aerosol this is hands down the best deodorant I've used. Never leaves white marks and always keeps me fresh. What more could you want?

Carmex Original Lip Balm Pot

One word. Amazing.

Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer

This is such a bargain primer. It makes my skin feel softer and smoother, glides over pores and makes makeup last longer.

L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Leave In Conditioner

The only thing that will enable me to get a brush though my giant mane of frizzy hair after washing.

Revlon ColorStay Concealer

This is a great concealer for covering blemishes and dark circles. There are 5 shades which means it's pretty easy to find a good match. Two shades are perfect for my pale skin. Plus it has a build-able formula so you can really cover those pesky problem areas without it caking.

So there we have it! A very long post but I wanted to cram 'em all in.
