Max Factor Excess Shimmer

When I saw the Max Factor Excess Shimmer eyeshadow in Bronze, I knew I had to make it mine. It is a cream/ mouse hybrid in a delicious warm bronze packed with just enough shimmer to add a little somethin' somethin'.

You can wear it as a sheer wash colour over the eyes, or build it up for an opaque colour that really packs a punch.  A little goes a long way and I like to use a light hand, starting at the lash line and blending upwards.
If you've been eying up the Tom Ford Cream Colour for Eyes in Spice you might want to give this a go as it's pretty dupe worthy. The Max Factor offering is slightly more red toned with a little more shimmer but at £7.99 compared Tom Ford's eye watering £25, I'm OK with that.

Have you tried the Max Factor Excess Shimmer eyeshadow? What do you think?

  1. it looks utterly incredible on you, need to give it a go! I'm really keen on using cream eyeshadow, because it keeps my oily lids under control xx

  4. I absolutely love this color! It reminds me a lot of the Bobbi Brown Longwear Cream Eyeshadows. I have so many items on my wishlist from Max Factor, they seem to have really upped their game lately.
