Gemini Woman Press Day

Last month the lovely ladies at Gemini Woman invited me to preview the Sandwich Clothing SS15 collection at the beautiful Arden Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon. Sandwich is a Danish company, voted best-selling contemporary womenswear brand by Drapers Magazine two years in a row.

The SS15 collection focuses on the human desire to collect the pretty, surprising and odd. The room was decorated with treasures and oddities arranged carefully against white backdrops.
The collection contains a good mix of styles and fabrics making it easy to create a transitional spring/ summer wardrobe. Monochrome pieces featured in the form of unstructured tailored jackets that would be great cover ups on chilly evenings.
I'm a little bit obsessed with orange at the moment so naturally this zesty spring jumper caught my eye. The super simple, oversize style would look gorgeous with undone waves, glowing flushed cheeks, ripped light denim and a cute brown satchel.
This feather print sweatshirt is such a cute way keep toasty and stylish during those chilly April showers.
And I love this sketchy take on the Breton stripe T-shirt which is available in a scoop neck and a V-neck, so there's a flattering option for everyone!
Blue featured heavily in the collection, from Ikkat inspired print tops and geometric woven jackets  to super soft chambray wide leg jeans.
Lord knows I love a good mood board - It's one of the best ways to quickly appreciate the mood the designer aims to evoke and the the influences they took to achieve a unified collection.
We were also lucky enough to be joined by a YSL cosmetics representative who showed us some of the new products for spring, including the Babydoll Blush and Kiss which looks heavenly.
The Sandwich SS15 collection has some gorgeous and very wearable pieces which would look great incorporated into a smart/ casual wardrobe.

The Sandwich SS15 collection is available to buy online at Gemini Woman, one of the biggest stockists in Europe.

Many thanks to the Gemini team for inviting me to the press day, I had a fantastic time and met some fabulous bloggers.

  1. That feather print sweatshirt is rather lovely, great pick! x

  2. This looks like a great press day, and I may now have my eye on that blue woven jacket - what a beaut! I love the knitwear too, especially the orange jumper.
