The March Lush Haul

The Lush haul is becoming a something of monthly ritual. It helps that the staff are so super helpful that it's like having a crack team of enablers on hand to personally remove my hard earned cash from my purse with a friendly smile.
I started with I the wonderfully zesty, orange scented Brightside Bubble Bar and The Comforter Bubble Bar, which has a glorious blackcurrant fragrance. Next, I hit up the Fresh Face Masks.
lush bbseaweed fresh face mask review
My skin has been feeling a bit bleugh lately. The cold weather has left it dehydrated and foundation just hasn't been sitting quite right. The girls in store recommended the BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask - a balancing and calming skincare treat. The BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask comprises seaweed, ground almonds, rose absolute and aloe vera to sooth and soften the skin. It also contains kaolin to remove excess dirt and oil, rosemary oil for its regenerative properties and millet flakes to gently exfoliate.

I smoothed this on and left it for around 15 minutes. FYI - be sure to lock the bathroom door if you don't want your significant other the witness the oh so attractive bits of seaweed stuck on face look. Despite the flaky green bits, i rather liked this mask. The scent is very fresh and a little bit ocean breeze. It left my skin looking glowing, pore free and so, so calm. In fact, I don't think my skin has ever felt so fresh and zen like.
lush popcorn lip scrub review
Continuing with the cold weather is making my skin sad, dull and flakey theme... I've seen lot about the Lush Lip Scrubs in the Blogasphere lately. I fully intended to pick up the Mint Julips Lip Scrub, but when I smelled this, oh my goodness! It smells like a little pot of butterscotch heaven! I am loving this. It's a very simple idea - coconut oil, sugar and sea salt all work together to exfoliate your lips to leave them super smooth. I've been using this once a week followed by a good slathering of my beloved Nuxe Reve de Miel to keep lips supple and moist.

Have you picked up any goodies from Lush lately?

  3. The Comforter bar is my favourite thing Lush do, love the blackcurrant scent - it really is glorious. I'm yet to try a fresh face mask from Lush, but this Seaweed one sounds fab x
