Hello! It's been a while hasn't it? Well I'm back, and with a few little April favourites. First up is a book called Meet Me in Manhattan by Claudia Caroll. It's a chick lit rom-com. If you're looking for a light, funny, easy read, I'd highly recommend you give this a go.
I'd like to introduce you to Percy. Yes, he's a pineapple plant, and the latest addition our little family. I love him! Isn't he the cutest? We picked him up from Tesco at the weekend and he has been happily living in the bedroom ever since.
I've been suffering from really dry skin this month, which is pretty unusual for me as I tend to be more combination. I was looking for something really rich to tackle the problem head on and picked up the Nivea Q10 Anti Wrinkle Night Cream from Tesco. I immediately saw a difference. and was so impressed I thought I'd give a day cream a go. The lure of a luminous glowing complexion was just too much to resist, so I made the Nivea Q10 Energizing Day Cream my own. It's absolutely gorgeous. It sinks in really quickly, doesn't leave a greasy residue and leaves the skin looking bright, awake and so, so glowy! Both of these are currently on offer at Tesco for £5 so they're a bit of a bargain too.
I've also been really pale this month so I went for a rummage round the foundation draw and pulled out the Urban Decay Naked Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup. Ok, so the name of this is ridiculously long, but the product is dreamy. I forgot how much I loved this. I use the shade 1 and it is perfect for me. It has a medium buildable finish and a demi matt finish, which leaves you looking you flawless - not too dewy, not too matt and super lightweight. I'm about to run out of this so I'll be making a trip to Debenhams this weekend to restock.
